November Grandparent Visit

Life has been a bit nuttier than usual, but things have begun to settle down and it is time to get to the blog!
November was a BIG month in our house. On the 12th my folks came for a short visit. It was lots of fun...
Kiss thought Grandma L as a pirate was hilarious!!
She was RIGHT!!
Ahoy Grandma! Thar be loads of fun ahead!!

Friday the Thirteenth was a very good day! We had Kindermusik in the morning and in the afternoon I found out that I still had a job AND that my territory hadn't changed (much). Yippee for Friday the thirteenth!!

Hula hooping is all the rage...and Kindermusik has the beat! Check out Grandma and Kiss...they could be in the next hooping workout video!
After a fun filled day of hooping and playing it was time for a snack. Grandma style!

Grandpa and Cookie had lots of fun bonding and reading books!
Cookie thinks Grandpa is the Greatest!!

It was wonderful to see my parents and to share Cookie and Kiss with them. We had a great trip and we were thrilled that they were able to make it. They left on the 16th to drive the Pee Hoopdie (my old car from college) back to WI.
Merry Christmas Mom & Dad!

Library Bees: Behind the Scenes

Cookie's BeeMobile is stylish. Unfortunately, it gets poor gas mileage.
So MamaFox took Kiss and Cookie do some research at the library.
Yes, the answer is here!!!
Bees can fly! I’m outta here!

Happy Halloween from the Bee Family

Kiss and Cookie were originally slated to be Pirates - AARRRGGG!! but we had a slight costume snafu (the 12-18 size was so tight that Cookie fell over like a turtle and couldn't get up!!) by the time I got back to the store their size was gone and I had been struck by inspiration.
BUSY BEES!! What better to make my busy little people that bees! Then Martha had a great Bee Keeper costume in her Halloween edition and I love a good wig and tutu - the Bee Family was born.

The Bee Keeper, Queen Bee and two Busy Honey Bees!

The Keeper with a VERY busy busy bee
Winner!! The Bee Family took home FIRST Prize for the best group costume! Score!
Miss A and Miss B stopped by to Buzzz with the bees and bring a little more Bug to the party (Cooper the Pup came decked out as a very cute Lady Bug!) The Honey Bees were super excited to see Miss A and even said her name when she arrived. Cuter than cute!

Check out all the cool costumes at the park

After the park festivities we headed out for some Trick or Treating! Let there be no mistake. This is Miss Kiss' holiday!! She loved ever single minute of it! After her first taste of that sweet candy goodness she was hooked! She ran to each door, straight to the candy bowl and demanded " TWO". Take a look at Kiss and Cookie's first Halloween!

Apparently I have said " Just one" and "Ok that's One" enough times that her response now is "two". After Halloween "two" has come to mean candy and I want some now, preferably two - one for each hand! She knows just where the candy stash is located and will march over to the spot several times a day and demand "TWO!!".
Like Mother like Daughter!
It was a fun filled night...but eventually the bees needed to return to the hive for some R&R

Cookie in a candy coma!!

Kiss: A candy bar in one hand and two toothbrushes in the other!
These two little bees had a marvelous time and were all buzzed out. Kiss fell asleep on the floor while I was reading stories and Cookie was asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow! It was a fun filled Holiday and I was so happy that Kiss and Cookie enjoyed as much as I did!

Pumpkin Patch Goblins!

Hello All,

This post is brought to you by PappaBear (not MamaFox)! We took Cookie and Kiss to a local Habitat for Humanity pumpkin patch.

These little goblins roamed around the pumpkin patch!

We were surprised how much Kiss and Cookie absolutely loved the pumpkins! They were constantly picking up the pumpkins, moving them around, patting them, climbing on them, and (of course) dancing with them...all while talking up a storm!

We had such a great time...!

No more blogging until PapaBear fixes MamaFox's computer

So there has been a pretty big lull in the blogs, particularly those that highlight development and new activities. This is mostly due to the fact that MamaFox's computer is clean out of storage space and cannot download any new pictures or open any programs. It is also due to PapaBear removing the iphoto app from her computer. Papabear has been blogging from his computer, but won't let MamaFox touch that computer (anyone that knows me understands this might be a legit thing).
So for anyone that would like to read more about Kiss and Cookie and all the happenings please direct requests c/0 PapaBear

Subject: Fix MamaFox's computer

Thanks for your support. I bet if he gets enough requests he'll fix my computer...until then.....you'll just have to believe me when I tell you they are super duper BIG and cute and wonderful. Bet you would all like to see some new pictures and hear about new adventures wouldn't ya????

The Most Amazing Godparents EVER!!!!

Life has been really hectic. I am mean WAY more than usual......so when my great friend and the babies Fairy Godmother offered to fly all the way from LA to TX to get her some baby lovin' and give the Hubby and me a much needed weekend away - how could I say no? I couldn't and I didn't!

Auntie N came into town early to get the lay of the land and some extra baby snuggles (Uncle J blew into town for the weekend)....by the time Friday rolled around I was feeling pretty confident that all would be well on the home front and the Hubby and I left for a fun and relaxing trip to Fredericksburg, TX.
Bye Bye Mommy and Daddy! Have Fun!

While we were in Fredrericksburg....drinking wine, getting massages, enjoying silence and one another, the Godparents were busy soaking up Kiss and Cookie!!
Auntie N hooked the kids up with all kinds of new dudes - including some frightful Halloween wear!! Look out Cookie - your ribs are showing!Yeah! We love to play with Uncle J. He's the BEST!!
Such fun was had by ALL! PapaBear and I had a wonderful time. We missed our sweet babies but we felt completely confident that they were in capable hands and that really enabled us to fully enjoy our time. How blessed we are to have such wonderful friends!!

How blessed our children are to have these amazing people in their lives!
(The pups are pretty blessed too)

Bye bye Auntie N and Uncle J. THANK YOU so much for your amazing generosity, the time out of a VERY busy life (Uncle J travels about 120% of his time so taking a weekend away from home is a pretty special gift), just taking charge and "making it work" (like needing to get milk and diapers and peanut butter and...well the list goes on) and mostly for your love and support. You are priceless treasures to our family! We miss you and can't wait to see you again soon.
Hugs and Kisses and Baby Snuggles and Puppy wags!
